Shhh, can you hear that? That’s the sound of another candidate ghosting a recruiter. I mean it’s been a long-held tradition that recruiters and companies were supposed to ghost candidates. It was almost passed a law in many states but now the tables are turned. The most common complaint I hear from recruiters is, “I got ghosted by another candidate”. The candidate not only didn’t show up for the interview but they didn’t call, didn’t show up, and won’t return any of my calls, texts, or emails.
Man, that is a harsh pill to swallow. Karma is a bitch, isn’t it?
My guest today has a passion for talent acquisition that can be traced back to her early days as a novice recruiter.
